  1. Hola Vicente. The Lady of the Defart,. Desde entonces sigo tu trayectoria y admiro el trabajo de investigación que realizas en Arpas Antiguas.Recientemente he comprado por este medio, tu último Cd " The Toutching of the String". Decirte que me encanta escucharlo. ¡Felicidades!.

  2. Vicente’s CDs—"The Toutching of the String" and "Sleep at thy Fairy Music"—are exquisite. His mastery of both the Celtic Clarsach and the Renaissance Harp are evident in his elegant phrasing and delicate ornamentation. Complimenting this are the subtle counterpoint and inner voicing in all his arrangements. His arrangements of “Hush Oh My Lanna” and “Mairi Bhan Og” from the first CD ("Sleep at thy Fairy Music"); and “General Lelly’s Goodnight,” “The Fairy Queen,” and “Neil Gow’s Lament” from the second ("The Toutching of the String") are among my personal favorites. As an added bonus for harp players, these lovely compositions are available for purchase through his website. Both CDs are a delight to the ear and make a welcome addition to the CD collection of anyone interested early music from Scotland and Ireland. A sampling of his most recent work can be heard on Youtube. His version of “Carolan’s Farewell to Music” is the most poignantly beautiful I’ve ever heard. I sincerely hope these two debut CDs will be followed many more in the future. – M. Simmons, USA

  3. I met Vicente in Cantabria, Spain, when we were both studying with Javier Sainz several years ago. Javier told me that Vicente was his “best student ever,” a remark now elevated to master. And I heard him play at a concert in Kyoto, Japan and was deeply moved by his luminous renditions. Recently I’ve been using his arrangements of O’Carolan, which breathe new life into that composer. Clarity, joie de vivre, profound depths. Fidelity to original sources. His repertoire includes medieval chansons, Renaissance sources, Scottish lute manuscripts and the early Gaelic oral tradition for clarsach, all played on period instruments. Everything Vicente does is heart-felt. I highly recommend him as a teacher, arranger and musician.

No falta detalle en sus arreglos creados meticulosamente.
    Un placer escucharte!
